One of the things that really held it back originally was an overuse of motion controls, which often felt interruptive to gameplay. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword rarely tops lists of the best Zelda games, due to it often being overshadowed by its more characterful cousins, Majora’s Mask or Windwaker.
